DRP First Aid Training delivers First Aid Training for Industry, Individuals and Leisure organisations in Kent, Surrey and Sussex.
Our professional Instructors have been trained to deliver informative and interesting courses, our focus is to give our candidates the skills and confidence to deliver effective first aid whether this is in the workplace or any other environment.
We offer a wide range of courses throughout Kent, Surrey, Sussex and London and can tailor some of our courses to suit your requirements and we are happy to travel to you to provide training subject to numbers attending.
Our instructors are dedicated to providing training which is informative and enjoyable, with plenty of hands on practice to ensure that candidates are ready to deal with any real life incidents when they occur.
All candidates attending our First Aid at Work Courses will receive an HSE Approved Certificate and a wallet sized card, we will also remind you when your certification is due for renewal.
We offer the Paediatric 12 Hour First Aid Course which is designed for people whose profession involves the care of young children and infants making it ideal for Nannies, Childminders and Playgroup Workers, this course complies with OFSTED National Standards.
Unsure of which course you need?
Businesses are required to conduct a Risk Assessment of their working environment before deciding which courses are suitable, there are two levels of qualification for people who will be providing first aid at work.
Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) is the one day HSE Approved Course introduced in October 2009 this course is designed for workplaces with a low risk for example offices and shops this course is a 6 Hour course which must be retaken every three years.
The First Aid at Work Course is a three day course for business environments with a higher risk for example construction and production companies, This course is an 18 hour course run over 3 days, once an employee has completed this course they can keep it current by attending a 2 Day Requalification Course.
In addition to the above the HSE Strongly recommends that all staff responsible for providing first aid at work undertake an annual refresher course.
